Si-Dem is our primary back-office parking enforcement software package, encompassing parking tickets, notices, parking permits, wheel clamping and removal and workflow management modules.
These key Si-Dem modules are further supported by document management, financial ledger, cash receipting and security components, integrated into a single Microsoft Windows-based application environment.

Flexible and configurable: Right from the earliest versions of Si-Dem, we’ve used our experience from previous generations to continue to develop a parking enforcement solution that is unchallenged in its flexibility. With user configurable information fields, import and export formats, debt progression rules, document templates and workflow, Si-Dem can be soft-configured to adapt to a range of debt collection scenarios, including on-street, CCTV and moving video debts, through to non-traffic-related fines such as environmental and truancy notices.
Push management: Si-Dem delivers the highest degrees of parking enforcement automation to the business by monitoring the operation in real-time and adapting to changing processing volumes automatically. Operational Managers are presented with effective top-down traffic management information, combined with automatic alerts and escalation within the workflow system. These combine to ensure that the traffic management system is working for the business, not the other way around.
High volume processing: Si-Dem’s highest-volume, live operation is the Transport for London (TfL) Bus Lane and Red Route CCTV contract operated by NSL Ltd. Over 2.8 million PCN records are maintained within the live Si-Dem system, with over 500,000 PCNs issued annually from static CCTV enforcement cameras. Within this operation, Si-Dem efficiently manages the 2,000 or so items of correspondence received daily, through digital document management and workflow modules. Supporting over 100 concurrent users, the traffic management system provides exceptional levels of performance within an enterprise-class, business-critical application environment.
Latest technology: Based upon the latest Microsoft .Net platforms, together with the best-in-class open system architectures available, Si-Dem is at the cutting edge of traffic management technology and is perfectly placed to support authorities delivering on their commitments to the national e-government strategy. This includes modules for delivering services to the public via internet portals together with system interoperability through open standard XML Web Services.
Modular Solution
Si-Dem is offered as a standard core product; but its modular design lets it scale and adapt to different customers’ demands without significant additional development.
This is demonstrated by maintaining a single version of the parking enforcement product across all customers, where this single product can be successfully configured for each customer.
