Will Saunders

Will Saunders oversees service delivery and operations for the ACS Government Healthcare Solutions (GHS) business, the national leader in state healthcare program administration. ACS supports more than 23 million program recipients and processes 550 million Medicaid claims annually. Saunders previously directed strategy and product development for GHS.

From 2004 to 2007, Saunders was president of Heritage Information Systems until it was acquired by ACS. Under his leadership, the business conducted Medicaid electronic health record implementations in three states.

Prior to joining Heritage, Saunders held leadership positions with Per-Se Technologies and Price Waterhouse LLP, and was a certified public accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He also served as a member of the Health Information Communication and Data Exchange Taskforce, supporting the National Governors Association’s State Alliance for e-Health on electronic health information exchange issues.

Saunders holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
