An ardent and enthusiastic career healthcare professional, Will Saunders strongly believes in the power of technology to improve health outcomes. Before his appointment to Group President, Saunders previously held multiple positions within Government Healthcare Solutions overseeing service delivery and operations, as well as directing strategy and product development.

From 2004 to 2007, Saunders was president of Heritage Information Systems until it was acquired by ACS, now Xerox Services. Under his direction, the business entered into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Health Information Exchange (HIX) market.

Prior to joining Heritage, Saunders held leadership positions with Per-Se Technologies and Price Waterhouse, and was a certified public accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Saunders received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia. He also served as a member of the Health Information Communication and Data Exchange Taskforce, supporting the National Governors Association’s State Alliance for e-Health on electronic health information exchange issues.
